There are some 300 Essex Lodges but, sadly, only the handful listed here have a web site. They thus deny the many visitors to this site knowledge of who they are, where they meet and what they do. They neglect one of the ways they can communicate with their members, regular visitors and with Freemasons worldwide.
There are many reasons no doubt for their absence from the WWW.
Secrecy:
We are indeed a Society with secrets but not a Secret Society. This is the 21st Century, isn't it, and the younger brethren will replace the old faithfuls who cling to outmoded attitudes.
Lack of ability to produce a web site We might be able to help.
Worst of all you may have brethren who ask, "what do we get out of it?"
